The practice record Example data

One cell per night, across a term

Example data. Each cell counts one night's accepted submissions. Brighter means more problems solved. The gaps are exam weeks. Each spoke is a week and each ring is a night, with Sunday at the centre. Scroll or drag the hand to move through the term.

Wing median rating over 62 rated contests

Example data. The coloured bands are Codeforces rating levels. The goal is to move up a band, not just to raise the number. Rating grows outward from the centre. One full turn is one term.

Events

Best known for

Dream In Code

A global contest on Codeforces, open to everyone from first-years to experienced competitors. The wing sets the problems and people from around the world solve them.

Code Arena

2stages

A thirty-minute qualifier with two easy problems cuts the field to sixty-four. Then it is 1v1: both players get the same problem, and the first correct answer wins the match. Wrong attempts cost nothing. Only speed counts.

Speedforces

2hours

Two hours of easy to medium problems, solved alone. First-years only. The top three are the people who solve the most in the least time. It teaches what a timed contest feels like.

Blindforces

The online judge is switched off. You get no verdict, no feedback and one submission per problem. Every answer is judged after time runs out. You have to test locally, check edge cases and submit anyway.

Fresher's Cup

First-years only, in teams of three. The goal is less about the scoreboard and more about getting new students into their first contest together and learning from each other.
